Day 5: Start of Classes

 Each day of the week students have classes with the 3 instructors. Afterwards, students have designated time to work on their homework so that they can spend as much time as possible with their host families at home. Then we eat lunch together and participate in various afternoon activities, including sports and preparing skits and songs for our Farewell Show, which we perform at the end of the program as a thank you to the host families. Today, for example, we learned about medieval poetry and literary terms and discussed various cultural differences between the United States and Spain. After school, they have a few hours of free time in the city with their groups before returning home to their host families.
